OUR CROPS
We have not forgotten our roots, and we give great importance to tradition, which we enrich with our farmers’ experience.
We grow a wide variety of crops, from Albuñol to Vélez de Benaudalla, Cúllar, Zújar, Comarca de Los Ríos, Malaga, Motril, and all the way to Carchuna.
OUR FACILITIES
We have three handling and packaging centres, in Carchuna, Puntalón and Vélez de Benaudalla.
We also have several product reception centres in Pozuelo, Castell de Ferro, Zújar and Arenas del Rey.

SUSTAINABILITY
Towards a better world together
We align our objectives with the United Nations Sustainable Development plan and the European Green Deal (farm to fork).
We are committed to sustainable and good quality agriculture to provide you with tasty and healthy products in environmentally friendly packaging.
WE PROMOTE THE USE OF RENEWABLE ENERGIES
The privileged Mediterranean and subtropical climate in the province of Granada allows us to guarantee production and supply throughout the year.
The many hours of sunlight we have in Andalusia mean that we can get the maximum yield from this natural resource, promoting the use of solar panels and improving our energy efficiency.
There are only 35 nights a year when we need to use biofuels to maintain the optimum temperature of our crops.

REDUCING OUR WATER FOOTPRINT
Our province has excellent natural water resources. The water that irrigates our fields comes from the mountains of the Sierra Nevada, which is considered to have some of the highest quality water in Spain.
By optimising traditional irrigation systems together with hydroponic systems, our crops receive just the right amount of water - for us, every drop counts.
As a result, our fruit is more flavourful, and crop size is sacrificed in favour of quality and excellence.
WE GUARANTEE FOOD SAFETY
La Palma's production is 100% certified, we are fully committed to sustainable agriculture and zero waste.
Our crops incorporate integrated pest control, replacing chemical treatments with natural processes through the use of auxiliary insects, thus guaranteeing consumers safe and healthy products.

WE ARE COMMITTED TO RECYCLING AND REUSE
Recycling is a basic pillar of our commitment to the environment. We make use of the organic and plastic waste generated in the agricultural activity.
We also encourage the use of compostable and 100% recyclable packaging, replacing plastic packaging.
WE PROMOTE THE LOCAL ECONOMY
As a cooperative we promote the local economy by working with local suppliers and distributors who require less transportation and therefore result in less CO2 emissions.
Our social impact extends to the more than 4,000 local families associated with the company.
